The winter months in Germany are cold and dark. So there is a good reason to choose a warm and sunny place for this time. The choice is Cancun, Mexico. For the above mentioned reason and also to explore the local wonder of the world Chichen Itza.
For ten days we stayed in the Hotel Occidental Tucancún. A four star hotel on the Zona Hotelera.

The beach of Tulum is known as one of the most beautiful in the world. The weather was not so good. However, it is recommended to go out for a day and explore the temple complex and the beach in Tulum.
